Constable: UP Police- 39425 posts (GEN-20009, OBC-10430, SC-7889, ST-1097); Armed Constabulary (PAC) – 2015 posts (GEN-1008, OBC-544, SC-423, ST-40)
Qualification: 10+2 from a recognized board/University.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 plus Grade Pay Rs.2000
Age: 18-22 years for Males and 18-25 years for Females (As on 01/07/2011) [Relaxation in age as per rules]
Selection Procedure: Physical Standards Test >> Physical Efficiency Test >> Written Test
Application Form : OMR application forms can be obtained from all General Post Offices in all the districts of UP from 20/07/2011 for Rs.50/-
Way to Apply : Applicants are required to submit the application forms duly complete in all respects at the same post offices from where the form was bought till 19/08/2011 (5.00 PM).
